Clodagh Rodgers, born on 5 March 1947 in Warrenpoint, County Down, Northern
Ireland, is a singer known for her contributions to pop music. She began her
singing career at the age of thirteen, opening for Michael Holliday and later
signing with Decca Records in 1962. Her debut single, "Believe Me I'm No Fool" /
"End of the Line", was produced by Shel Talmy, and she made her UK TV debut in
September 1962, performing "Let's Jump the Broomstick" on BBC TV's Adam Faith
