Client is an English electronic music group formed in London in 2002, originally
comprising Kate Holmes and Sarah Blackwood, both of whom performed anonymously
until their identities were later disclosed. Holmes, formerly of Frazier Chorus
and Technique, and Blackwood, lead singer of Dubstar, brought a blend of
synth‑pop and new‑wave influences to the project. The group’s debut single,
"Don't Call Me Baby" (2005), introduced their signature aesthetic of airline
