achieved professional recognition for a musical career characterized by jazz,
pop, and bossa nova and for being the most popular contemporary French singer in
Japan. Her recording career began with the debut studio recording Absolument
jazz (1988) released on the label Sony France. Clémentine achieved professional
recognition for being discovered at the MIDEM in Cannes and signing with the
