Clay Davidson, born on April 4, 1971 in Saltville, Virginia, is an American
country music singer. Coming from a musical family, Davidson moved to Nashville,
Tennessee in pursuit of a record deal. His breakthrough came when he won Charlie
Daniels' Talent Round-Up show in 1995. Shortly after, Davidson became a demo
singer for other artists and was later recommended by rock artist Jude Cole to
Scott Hendricks at Virgin Records Nashville. Davidson signed with the label in
