Fabián Alexis Cartagena, known professionally as Clarent, was born on 8 January
1999 in San Juan, Caparra, Puerto Rico, and works as a rapper and singer. Before
committing to music, he worked as a barber in the Slayter neighborhood, a common
background for emerging urban artists in the region. Clarent’s first public
appearance in the music scene came with the 2022 collaboration "No mezclamos"
