City of London Choir is a non-professional choir based in London, England.
Originating from the Kingsway Choral Society, it adopted its current name in
1963 and has since become one of the United Kingdom’s leading amateur choral
ensembles. With around 100 members, the choir performs regularly at major London
venues including the Barbican Centre, Cadogan Hall, the Royal Albert Hall, the
Royal Festival Hall, and St John’s Smith Square. In 2024, Daniel Hyde, Director
of Music of the Choir of King’s College, Cambridge, was appointed musical
