Wilbert Gavin Mays, known professionally as Cities Aviv, is an American rapper
and record producer born on May 16, 1989, in Memphis, Tennessee. He initially
gained recognition as the lead singer of the hardcore punk band Copwatch before
transitioning to hip-hop. In 2011, he released his first mixtape Digital Lows,
which received positive reviews from music publications such as Pitchfork and
Spin. Mays relocated to New York in 2012 and released the mixtape BLACK PLEASURE
