Henry Russell Walter (born April 23, 1986, in Halifax, Nova Scotia), known as
Cirkut, is a Canadian producer and songwriter. He began his career in Toronto,
co-producing Britney Spears’ Mmm Papi (2008). After relocating to Los Angeles,
he co-produced Katy Perry’s Part of Me (2012) and The Weeknd’s High for This.
His major hits include Roar, Dark Horse, Wrecking Ball, and Starboy. In 2016, he
contributed to Starboy, which won a Grammy. He co-produced Girls Like You
(Maroon 5) and Jungkook’s Standing Next to You (2023), solidifying his influence
in pop and R&B.
