Chronic Law
Jamaican dancehall deejay Chronic Law (real name Ackeme Jermane Campbell) moved
from local momentum into official releases with “Inna Di Yard” (2016), a debut
that was followed by the mixtape 6IXTape (2017). He pushed further into the late
2010s with “Government” with Kevstar (2018) and “Hill Side” (2019), two records
that helped define his early signature: clipped melodies, tense storytelling,
and hooks built for sound-system impact. In the early 2020s he kept the pace up
with collaborations such as “Me Alone” with Java (2021), then solo singles like
“Empty” (2022) and “Legend” ...
