Christopher John Robinson is an English conductor and organist born on April 20,
1936. He served as an organ scholar at Christ Church, Oxford, before being
appointed Organist and Master of the Choristers at Worcester Cathedral in 1963.
Robinson conducted the City of Birmingham Choir between 1964 and 2002. He served
as Organist and Choirmaster at St George's Chapel, Windsor Castle, from 1974 to
1991 and led the Oxford Bach Choir from 1976 to 1997. In 1991, he became
