Christina Courtin, born in 1984 in Buffalo, New York, is an American singer,
violinist, songwriter and composer. She began playing the violin at age three
and soon developed an interest in composition and singing. Courtin studied at
the Juilliard School before embarking on a career that saw her collaborate with
numerous notable artists across folk, pop, and jazz genres, including Dirty
Projectors, Sara Watkins, The Knights, Nick Cave, Paul McCartney, and Yo-Yo Ma.
