Christian Galvez
Christian Gálvez, born March 16, 1977 in Santiago, Chile, is a Chilean jazz
bassist, composer, and producer whose career began in the late 1990s performing
with Ivan Lins and other international artists. He launched his solo discography
with the album Christian Gálvez in 2000, followed by Cero in 2002, both released
through Bolchevique Records before he founded Pez Records. Subsequent
releases—including Dinámica solista (2004), América luz (2006), Imaginario
(2007), Crisálido (2009), and Cinético (2010)—featured chord-melody techniques,
