Chris Thomas King
Chris Thomas King, born Durwood Christopher Thomas on October 14, 1962 in Baton
Rouge, Louisiana, is an American blues musician and actor. The son of blues
musician Tabby Thomas, King began his career under the name Chris Thomas. He
released early recordings such as Blue Beat (1984) and The Beginning (1986). In
1997, he released his self-titled album Chris Thomas King. King is known for
pioneering rap/blues fusion with the concept album 21st Century Blues… from da
