Chris Staples
Chris Staples is an American musician from Pensacola, Florida. He began his
career as the vocalist and guitarist for the indie rock band Twothirtyeight.
Staples also released music under the stage name Discover America, including the
studio album Psychology (2005). He independently released the albums Panama,
Burned and Blistered, and Blackest Hair, Bluest Eyes (2004) before signing with
Barsuk Records. The label re-released his album American Soft (2014). His
subsequent recordings include the studio albums Golden Age (2016), Holy Moly
