He is a British singer, songwriter and guitarist who is regarded as the defining
voice of the soft rock and glam rock era of the 1970s. Chris Norman began making
music with his school friends in 1965. In 1965, he founded the band Smokie in
Bradford, whose members alongside Chris Norman included Alan Silson, Terry
