Chris Braide, born Christopher Braide on 6 February 1973 in Warrington, Lancashire is a British composer and songwriter whose career began in the early 1990s with the release of his debut solo album Chapter One – Chris Braide through Polydor Records. After signing with David A. Stewart’s Anxious Records, he issued the single "If I Hadn't Got You" in 1996, followed by the album Life in a Minor Key, produced at Electric Lady Studios; the record was later distributed by Atlantic Records in the United States.
