Chet Faker
Nicholas James Murphy, born 23 June 1988 in Melbourne, Victoria, is an
Australian electronic music singer, songwriter, producer, and
multi‑instrumentalist also known as Chet Faker. He first attracted attention
with his viral cover of Blackstreet’s "No Diggity" in 2011, which led to the
release of his debut EP Thinking in Textures in March 2012 and a signing to
Downtown Records in the United States. The EP earned the Australian Independent
Records Award for Best Independent Single/EP in October 2012, and Nick Murphy’s
single "I'm Into You" entered the Triple J Hottest 100 of 2012 ...
