Charles Shaw
Charles Shaw, an American rapper and singer, was born on July 4, 1960, in
Houston, Texas. In 1988, Shaw performed on recordings credited to Milli Vanilli,
notably contributing to their hit single "Girl You Know It's True". He disclosed
his involvement to John Leland of New York Newsday in December 1989, which led
to a scandal that ultimately resulted in the withdrawal of Milli Vanilli's
Grammy Award for Best New Artist. Shaw released several singles independently,
including "I'm Feeling" in 1994 and "Gotta Fever" in 1995.
