Charles Papasoff, born in 1956 in Montreal, Canada, is a jazz musician and
composer known for his work as a film composer, director, actor, arranger, and
music producer. He began his musical career as a baritone saxophonist,
performing with artists such as Matt Herskowitz and Donny McCaslin, and gained
recognition in 1982 at the Festival International de Jazz de Montréal. In 1993,
he released his debut album Papasoff on the Red Toucan label. Throughout the
