Charger
Charger, a nu-metal and sludge band, was formed in 1995 in Stoke‑on‑Trent by Tim
Machin, Jim Palmer, Jay Woodroffe, Jez Leslie, and Paul Sanderson. Breakthrough
came with the 1998 demo Haulin’ Ass and the 1999 EP Fuzzbastard released through
Recordings. In 2000, they issued the mini album The Foul Year of Our Lord,
followed in 2003 by Confessions of a Man (Mad Enough to Live Amongst Beasts),
both produced by Dave Chang. Subsequent releases included the 2007 album Spill
