Lee Chae‑ryeong, known mononymously as Chaeryeong, was born on June 5 2001 in
Yongin, Republic of Korea, and is a singer, rapper, and main dancer for the
K‑pop group Itzy. After appearing as a contestant on K‑pop Star in 2013 and
training under JYP Entertainment, she debuted with Itzy in February 2019,
releasing the single album It'z Different and the lead single "Dalla Dalla".
Since then, Chaeryeong has contributed to Itzy’s successive releases, including
"Icy", "Not Shy", and "Untouchable", and has appeared on collaborations such as
