Sebastião Cezar Franco (born 18 January 1958 in Piracicaba, São Paulo) and Paulo
Roberto Franco (born 16 May 1960 in Piracicaba) formed the sertanejo duo Cezar &
Paulinho in 1974, drawing on a family legacy that included the duo Craveiro &
Cravinho. Their first recording, the 1974 single "Venha Me Dar Suas Mãos",
marked their entry into the national scene, followed by the 1978 album Belezas
do Sertão. The breakthrough came with the 1981 release Noite Maravilhosa, which
produced the hit "Noite Maravilhosa" and established the pair as a well‑known
