Scott Alan Klayton, known professionally as Celldweller, was born on September
26, 1972, in the United States. He began his career in the mid-1990s with the
industrial metal band Circle of Dust. After its dissolution, Klayton released a
posthumous collection titled Disengage and an album for Angeldust, a project
created with illusionist Criss Angel. In 1998/1999, Klayton started creating
songs for Celldweller and released a limited edition EP of early demos. The
