Julio Alberto Cruz García, known professionally as Casper Mágico, was born on
June 21, 1989, in San Juan, Puerto Rico. He is a rapper and singer who gained
prominence in the Latin trap and reggaeton genres. In 2005, he formed a musical
duo with Anuel AA called Anuel y Casper, releasing their first single "Ella dice
que te ama". His career was interrupted between 2010 and 2014 due to legal
issues that led to his deportation to the United States. Upon his return, he
resumed his music activities as a backup singer for Anuel AA until the latter's
