Rapper Benjamin Griffey (born September 25, 1982 in Lemgo), known as Casper, grew up in Augusta, Georgia (USA). He moved back to Germany at the age of 11. In his youth in Bielefeld, Casper is part of various metal and punk bands. Later, the artist attended rap battles and released his first mixtapes. His debut album Hin Zur Sonne was released in 2008, but failed to enter the charts.
