Casey Abrams is an American musician and singer born on February 12, 1991, in
Austin, Texas. He attended Idyllwild Arts Academy in California, where he
studied classical bass instruction and improvisation before attending the
University of Colorado at Boulder. Abrams gained national attention as a
contestant on the tenth season of American Idol in 2011, finishing in sixth
