Carrie was a British‑based rock music group formed in London in 1996, featuring
former Levitation and Some Have Fins guitarist Steve Ludwin, ex‑EMF bass player
Zac Foley, guitarist Dennis Dicker, and Australian drummer Bruce Pawsey. The
band emerged from the earlier North London outfit Pura Vida, and after a brief
period of independent releases, they signed to Island Records in 1997, though
their debut single "Birds" was issued independently. In 1998, Carrie issued the
studio album Fear Of Sound in 1998 which included the singles "Breathe
