Carpark North is a Danish electronic rock ensemble from Aarhus established in
1999. They achieved professional recognition for a musical style characterized
by electronic rock and for a name representing the contrast between edges and
stars. The ensemble was founded on July 28, 1999, by the vocalist and guitarist
Lau Højen, the bassist and claviériste Søren Balsner, and the drummer Morten
