Carolina Laó
Carolina Ovalle Arango, known as Carolina La O, is a Colombian singer
specializing in salsa and tropical music. She was born in 1975, in Manizales,
Colombia. She made her live debut at age six singing “Campesina Santandereana”
at her elementary school. In the late 1990s, Carolina joined Alquimia la Sonora
del XXI, where she gained popularity. She ventured out as a solo artist in 1999
with her debut album El Son de Ahora. Her subsequent releases include Dulce
Veneno (2001) and Carolina (2002). In 2004, she was asked to join Telemundo's
reality TV series Protagonistas de la Fama VI...
