Carly Rae Jepsen was born on November 21, 1985, in Mission, British Columbia,
Canada. After studying at the Canadian College of Performing Arts, she finished
third on Canadian Idol in 2007 and signed with 604 Records. Her folk-pop debut
album, Tug of War, followed in 2008 and produced the Canadian hits “Tug of War”
and “Bucket.” Carly Rae Jepsen’s international breakthrough began with “Call Me
