Carla Olson
Carla Olson, born on July 3, 1952, in Austin, Texas, is an American, Los
Angeles-based songwriter, performer, and record producer. She began her
professional path in 1978 with the Textones, whose debut album Midnight Mission
entered the Billboard 200 and produced the singles "Standing in the Line" and
"Midnight Mission", both receiving MTV airplay. She released the solo album So
Rebellious a Lover in 1987. Her collaborations include work with Mick Taylor,
Gene Clark, and Ry Cooder, and she has produced recordings for artists such as
