Canadian‑American publisher, first introduced in 1981. The concept was developed
by Elena Kucharik, a writer and children's illustrator from Cleveland. Their
initial breakthrough came in 1982 with the release of Introducing the Care
Bears, under Kid Stuff Records, marking the franchise’s entry into the music
