Cardenales de Nuevo Leon
Traditional Latin music has always been appreciated by Mexican audiences and one
of the best known and most successful exponents of the genre has been the band
Cardenales De Nuevo León. Formed in 1982 the group plays in the traditional
música norteña (northern) style and began their recording career in 1984 with
the release of their self-titled debut album. Since those early beginnings the
band have gone from strength to strength, winning numerous industry accolades
along the way.
