Caramba was a Swedish novelty music ensemble active in 1981. The group was
established by the producer Michael B. Tretow and the singer Ted Gärdestad. They
achieved professional recognition for the debut studio recording Caramba (1981)
which reached number 14 in Sweden and Norway. The recording was produced by
Tretow and featured a musical style characterized by nonsense language designed
