Cannibal Ox
Cannibal Ox, a hip hop group from Harlem, New York, became active in 1998 and
consisted primarily of Vast Aire and Vordul Mega. The duo gained early
recognition with their debut album, The Cold Vein, released in 2001, under
Definitive Jux Records, receiving critical acclaim. In 2005, Cannibal Ox
released a live album titled Return of the Ox: Live at CMJ. Following internal
disputes and creative differences with label owner El-P, Vast Aire confirmed
