American country music singer, Canaan Lee Smith, was born on August 24, 1982, in
Dillsboro, Indiana. He graduated from Lafayette High School and attended Belmont
University in Nashville. In 2009, Canaan Lee Smith moved to Nashville to pursue
a musical career and co-wrote the hit "Runaway" by Love and Theft, which peaked
