Cain Culto
Andrew Estevan Padilla, known professionally as Cain Culto, was born in Florida
and raised in Lexington, Kentucky, where he studied visual arts and music at the
School of Creative and Performing Arts. After serving as an Evangelical worship
pastor and founding the Christian band Ecclesia, he came out as gay and
reinvented himself as Cain Culto, drawing on Appalachian and Colombian
influences such as bluegrass, vallenato, and bullerengue. His debut single
"Supernatural Oasis" released in 2022 led to the EPs Ordination I (2022) and
