Buffalo Daughter
Buffalo Daughter is a Japanese rock band formed in 1993 by suGar Yoshinaga
(vocals, guitar), Yumiko Ohno (vocals, bass), and MoOog Yamamoto (vocals,
turntables). The group emerged from Shibuya, Tokyo, and initially signed with
the independent label Cardinal. Their early releases included EPs like Shaggy
Head Dressers (1994) and Amoebae Sound System (1995). Buffalo Daughter gained
wider exposure when they signed with Grand Royal Records, releasing albums such
as Captain Vapor Athletes (1996) and New Rock (1998), which peaked at number 77
