Buena Fe are a pop duo comprising singer Israel Rojas Fiel and guitarist Yoel Martínez Rodríguez from Guantanamo in Cuba. Although pop in their sensibilities, Bueno Fe also hark back to the trova style of tradition ballideering. Making their debut in 1999 with the single 'Intimidad', they were rapidly signed by the government funded Association Hermanos Saíz before relocating to Havana to record their first album, 'Déjame Entrar in 2001.
