Bruce Eskovitz, an American jazz saxophonist, was born on February 2, 1955, in
Los Angeles, California. He began his professional saxophone career at 13 and
composed music for The Merv Griffin Show before turning 20. Eskovitz held
degrees from California State University, Northridge, and the University of
Southern California. His debut album, Bruce Eskovitz, was released on Cexton
Records in 1990, followed by One for Newk in 1995, a tribute to Sonny Rollins.
