Brother Phelps was an American country music duo formed in 1992 in Edmonton,
Kentucky. The ensemble consisted of brothers Ricky Lee Phelps and Doug Phelps,
both of whom had previously achieved significant success as members of the
Southern rock band the Kentucky Headhunters. Seeking a more traditional country
sound, the brothers left their former group and signed with Asylum Records. They
achieved a major breakthrough in 1993 with their debut single, “Let Go”, which
reached number 6 on the Billboard country charts. This was followed by their
debut studio album, also titled Let Go...
