Brooklyn Funk Essentials, formed in 1993 in the United States of America, was
conceived by producer Arthur Baker and bassist Lati Kronlund, who served as
musical director. The collective’s early work emerged with the 1994 EP The
Creator Has A Masterplan, followed by the 1995 album Cool and Steady and Easy,
which featured an underground hit cover of Pharoah Sanders’ The Creator Has a
Master Plan. Subsequent releases-In the BuzzBag (1998), Make Them Like It
