Britt Damberg
Britt Damberg, born Britt Elisabet Damberg on January 11, 1937 in Köping,
Sweden, was a Swedish schlager and jazz singer and actress who died March 31,
2019. She began her musical career in 1954, finishing second in an amateur
singing competition, and released the EP På tal om kärlek. She competed in the
Swedish Eurovision selections in 1959 with "Nya fågelsången" and in 1960 with
"Nancy Nancy", placing third in both contests. Her song "Hälsa Mikael från mig"
reached number 9 on the Show Business magazine charts in April 1963 and served
