Brita Borg
Brita Kerstin Gunvor Borg was a Swedish singer from Stockholm, Sweden. She began
her career with the variety show group Vårat gäng after winning a song
competition in 1943. In 1959, she represented Sweden in the Eurovision Song
Contest with the song "Augustin", reaching number 9. She recorded the album
Århundradets melodier (1961). Other notable songs include "Fat Mammy Brown" and
"Ljuva sextiotal", which charted in 1969. She died in 2010.
