Brent Anderson, born in Pascagoula, Mississippi in 1988, is an American country
singer-songwriter. He began playing bass guitar at age seven and later played
acoustic guitar in a trio with his father and his father's cousin. By seventeen,
Anderson signed his first songwriting deal. In late 2011, he released his debut
single "Amy's Song" through Arista Nashville, which peaked at number 47 on the
Hot Country Songs chart. The song sampled Pure Prairie League’s 1973 hit "Amie"
