Boo

Boo! is a South African band formed in 1997, known for their unique "Monki Punk" sound. The group initially featured Chris Chameleon, Ampie Omo, and Leon Retie. Boo! entered the music scene in October 1997 and gained significant popularity in Europe, performing over 800 concerts across 17 countries. In 2002, they received a South African Music Award (SAMA) for 'Best Pop Album. After disbanding in 2004, the band reformed in February 2010 with Riaan van Rensburg replacing Leon Retief on drums and released their album The Three of Us (2010).
