Bonde da Stronda

Bonde da Stronda was a Brazilian hip hop group from Rio de Janeiro that was active between 2006 and 2023. The ensemble was founded by the singers Mr. Thug and Léo Stronda, who began their career with home recordings of tracks such as “Vida de Playsson” (2006). They released the independent demo Stronda Style in 2008 before signing with Galerão Records. The group achieved a significant breakthrough with the virtual album Nova Era da Stronda (2009), which featured the popular collaboration “Mansão Thug Stronda” (2010) with Mr. Catra.
