Louis Andreas Pepler, known professionally as Bok van Blerk, was born on March
30, 1978, in Pretoria, South Africa. He is an Afrikaans singer who grew up in
Pretoria and initially pursued engineering studies before turning to music. His
breakthrough came with the release of "De la Rey" in 2006, a song that became a
national sensation and was included in his debut album Jy praat nog steeds my
taal, later re-released as De la Rey. The album achieved platinum status and
