Bob Seger & the Silver Bullet Band
Bob Seger, born May 6, 1945 in Detroit, Michigan, grew up in a middle-class
family whose finances grew strained after his father left when he was young, and
he became a prominent American rock singer-songwriter whose raspy voice and
heartland themes resonated nationwide. After early stints with the Decibels and
the Last Heard, Bob Seger signed with Capitol Records and released Ramblin'
Gamblin' Man in 1969, which produced his first national hit of the same name. In
1973, Bob Seger assembled the Silver Bullet Band, and the band's live effort
