Boamorte
Boa Morte, an Irish alternative folk band from Cork, was formed in 1998 and
consisted of Paul Ruxton, Cormac Gahan, Bill Twomey, and Maurice Hallissey.
Their debut, Soon It Will Come Time to Face the World Outside, was released in
2002. The band also played live extensively and supported acts such as Fanclub
and Howe Gelb. In 2010, the band released The Dial Waltz, followed by Before
There was Air (2019) and The Total Space (2023).
